A Dream

I climbed the Table Hill at sunset. I saw its horizon at the very moment of the last bit of the sun disappeared in the haze. In front of me, spread around at the plateau, silhouettes of old piano wings were growing, ordered into a neat squadron with the tip towards me.
At each piano sat a pair of virtuosi, ready for a four-hand play.
They were dressed in leather pilot overalls.
The machines were silent.
Something was about to come.
I heard as if I was rustling against the ground with something.
It was my coat-tail.
Not far from me, a little heap was jutting out of the ground in the form of the tump.
I stood on it, and the soil immediately started to sink beneath me...
