I got to Mikulov after I stayed in Strasbourg with a clear idea of what I wanted to do there and what it should look like. I was fascinated by the issue of time which perhaps happens to everybody at least once in their lifetimes. Past, present, future – willful cutting into those shiny boards and destroying them felt almost like a therapy while every moment the touch became past – a time therapy to a squeaky, wailing sound. In the end I did not make three didactic boards – past, present and future – but three pasts instead.

There is a theory that says if information could disappear – together with our deeds – nothing could be reconstructed and reclaimed and the world would be unrepeatable and unrecoverable. This doesn’t seem to be true, nothing seems to disappear.
